BOZEMAN UPDATE FROM STEVE ZIGLOWSKY
It is exciting to have another member in the Bozeman Christian
Church.  Jimmy Shults decided to give his life to Christ on Monday, February
18th.  He has been an encouragement to me personally and to the church
here as well.  Samantha Hutton originally invited Jimmy to church
about three months ago and he has come to almost every event since then.
He has three young children and I am looking forward to him having the
opportunity to build relationships with other families in the Montana
churches.

(Editor's Note: Steve has been serving as the Church Leader for the Church in Bozeman while finishing his graduate degree in counseling at Montana State University. Less than a year ago, Steve baptized his borther-in-law. We thank God and praise Him for our brothers and sister in both Bozeman and Great Falls.)

NEW BAPTISM  - by Derrick Dodson

What an exciting day for the Missoula Christian Church on September 16th when Will Hart was baptized.  To have a conversation with him is like a breath of fresh air filled with a great love for God, an eager desire to learn and a compassion for his fellow man.  His desire to learn and study God's word has been an inspiration for myself and others.  When we would study the Bible with him, I could not help myself from smiling and cheering inside because it was so obvious that he understood what God was trying to teach him.

Will has a great pride for his country and has received The Silver Star for Valor and has received three Purple Hearts during his service in Vietnam.  His training in the Army as a dog handler has carried over into his retired life where he serves tirelessly as a volunteer helping different communities in the Northwest in searching and finding missing people.  Being a fellow Airborne soldier I feel a special bond to him and now a greater bond because we both have God in our lives.

Airborne Will Airborne

Baptims - by Jessica Diettrich

The brothers and sisters at Missoula Christian Church rejoiced on July 22nd as four new disciples were baptized into our family.  Ben & Jamie Everett attended the marriage retreat held in May and immediately afterward, they started studying with Ben's brother and sister, Sean and Becca.  It was truly wonderful to watch as Sean and Jake baptized Ben and then see Ben and Sean be able to baptize Jamie.

Jessica Jensen and Meagan MacDonald were baptized at McClay Flats after worship services.  Jessica moved out to Missoula from Seattle back in January and she and Meagan began studying with Joy Weaks this spring.  After prayers in German from Jessica's grandmother Caroline, her father Jake and Joy were able to baptize her.  Coming back to shore, Meagan, Jessica and Joy stood arm in arm while Meagan's father prayed.  Then, the three girls who have been through so much together went down in the river to baptize Meg.

From this sister's perspective, it was very moving to watch my sister in blood become my sister in Christ.  It is amazing to see how, through the love and blood of Christ, we who may not have much in common can become family, and those of us who are family can become so much more.

July 29th, Devon A. Pinkal from the Bitterroot was baptized. Devon left to serve our country with the Marines on August 5th. Devon's love for God and the Bible were evident to all. It was a difficult farewell for all who knew and loved him. He will be in our thoughts and prayers.
