Marriage is a divine institution designed to form a permanent union between man and woman that they might share their love and be helpful to one another. The Bible presents marriage as the deepest form of spiritual unity a man and a woman can achieve. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5). Without the marital tie the people of the world would have been a mixed multitude. Marriage helps each other to stay near to one another and to God.

The idea for an ICOC matrimonial site was suggested 3 years ago. But due to many challenges the project was put on hold. ICOC MatchPoint finally took its shape when the call for help became loud and clear that many desired a web portal to help them choose their right partner from anywhere in the world. The name ICOC MatchPoint was coined as a final searching Point where a possible Match could be found for the members of the International Churches of Christ.

Being an Evangelist and having lead hundreds of disciples, I have come to understand the struggles, the challenges; the delays and the pain that disciples go through until God assists them find their perfect soul mate for their lives. This web portal has been my personal effort and burning desire to help our brothers and sisters who have shown their Godliness through their patience towards God, waiting till he answers their prayers to take their wedding vows too one day.

My prayerful ambition is that this website would help meet the needs of members from all over the world, from every nation, every language and to meet every individual’s choice and need. We are aware of the many disciples who are unmarried for several years, many with special needs, handicapped, divorced, or those who have been patiently persevering well beyond their marriageable age. As we can understand that it gets even more difficult in smaller congregations when members have to find their dream spouse from within their small numbers or with the help of several individuals to meet their possible spouse from within the state/province they live in or even from within their own country. With God’s blessing, this site could very well be a tool to end the search and delay for every individual and congregation around the world.

We believe as the scriptures teach us in Prov 11:14, For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure. (NIV) We hope that this site would help members search and find their soul mates with the help, advice and blessings of elders who are involved in each of their lives. This website certainly is not meant to leave anyone to act individually or independently and make their own decisions without the prayers and counsel of elders around them.

The site has an INDIVIDUAL account and a GROUP account. The GROUP account is for those who may volunteer to help register for other members who may not have access to a computer. This helps them to monitor several individual accounts with just one login and password.

The portal has been hosted on a secure server in Canada. Special care has been taken to protect the personal data of members. Every new account will be manually activated within 48 hours by the WEB-ADMIN after viewing the profile and authenticity of the registered member, this protects the site from being tampered by unwanted logins.

With the blessings of God, ICOC Match Point could very well become a useful tool from this generation to the next.
